In this 4 hour workshop, you will be introduced to plants and processes used to create natural dyes for painting.  You will learn how to extract pigments from plants, and then how to transform them into watercolor or oil based natural paints.  You will spend your time processing the plant material, with some time to start your creative project and materials to take home for another.  Dress comfortably and in clothing that you would wear when painting or dying.   All materials will be provided.  Light snacks included.  Class size is limited.
